As part of the success of the Barney and Echo "Caught in the Web" Educational Programme, and the Internet Safety Roadshows we are excited to announce that we are having an "Internet Safety Roadshow in association with Kaspersky Lab UK" on Tuesday 24th April 2018.
The internet is an integral part of all of our lives and the age at which children are accessing the internet through a variety of devices is changing as younger children become more technically aware - leading to confusion and exposing children to possible danger.
All interaction with our community carries risk and young children can be ill equipped to deal with the particular dangers that present themselves on a virtual level.
The Internet Safety Roadshow will address issues such as bullying, personal security and social media which will help children at a young age make good decisions based upon sound educational advice.
Speakers at the Event include -
Discovery Education
National Online Safety
Brittanica DIgital Learning
Metropolitan Police
The Roadshow will be a half School day event starting at 9.30am with the event closing at 12.30pm - attendance for teachers and children will be free of charge and is open to all Primary and Junior Schools and PRU's.
The Roadshow will be held at the Jubilee Sports Centre, Caird St, London W10 4RR.
