ABOUT US

The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain support initiatives that help young people to reach their full potential and become responsible citizens.

The Clubs do many things, all of which are aimed at providing a safer, more educated life for the most disadvantaged children and young people in our communities.
It is important to note that the PCCGB is administered entirely by serving and retired police officers, or a member of the Home Office and we engage regularly with some of the most experienced, innovative and informed consultants in citizenship and community project delivery in the United Kingdom.

The concept of a network of Police Community Clubs was enthusiastically taken up following the success of the initial programme in 1992. Together with the existing clubs, new clubs were formed who were willing to embrace the aims and the objectives of the organisation.

Since 2005, the clubs have taken up the challenge of delivering citizenship based programmes initially to our own clubs and subsequently to Schools and the wider community.

Suffice to say that the clubs have come a long way since its formation in 1992 to become the primary and only national based community organisation administered solely by serving and retired police officers in the UK.
